2021 Ambassador

Louise Padgett

We’re thrilled to have Louise Padgett on board this year as the official event ambassador. Louise Padgett nee Yaxley, is renowned for her talent on the international cycling stage. Padgett, who trained with the Australian Institute of Sport Women’s Road Cycling Team in Germany back in 2005, was sadly involved in a fatal accident, resulting in an early retirement due to her injuries sustained. Despite this, she remains heavily involved in the cycling community in her home state of Tasmania and continues to share her inspiring story with others.

Louise is heavily involved in the Freycinet Challenge and The Icebreaker Multi Sport Challenge. We thank her for her patronage of the 2021 Western Tiers Cycle Challenge, supporting New Horizons Tasmania.

Thank you to our amazing sponsors!
