Get ready for The Western Tiers Cycle Challenge by following the 8-week training program provided by AvantiPlus Launceston and EFM Health Clubs. The short weekly video clips will lead you through an 8-week program to improve your bike skills and build fitness in preparation for the ride. This is an ideal program for the beginner/intermediate bike rider.

Week1

    • Spend some time on your bike, try to do two or three 40 minute sessions, focusing on balance, comfort & general confidence on the bike.
  • Now is the time to ensure that you have the right gear – a safe bike, an Australian Standard helmet, gloves, sunglasses and a water bottle.
