Since 1986, New Horizons Club (now known as New Horizons Tasmania) has remained a vital link between people with disability and their hopes and dreams of becoming involved in activities that most people take for granted.
We encourage people with all form of disability to compete and participate at their own level, displaying their own unique skills and abilities. We are the only organisation of its kind, providing support and services to the wider Launceston community, North-East Tasmania and now with satellite programs in the south of the state.
Sport and recreation activities are ideal ways of encouraging community inclusion, of enhancing friendships, of staying healthy and of helping people of all age and abilities to strive for, and reach, their goals.
With headquaters at Mowbray, New Horizons Tasmania provides over 500 sport and recreation session each year.
